A healthcare facility in Cicero, IL, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to cover night shifts on a 7-on, 7-off schedule. This contract position requires expertise in pediatric pharmacy to support short staffing on nights and ensure optimal patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dispensing and verifying medications during night hours (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Collaborating with clinical teams to manage pediatric patients’ medication therapies, including weight-based dosing calculations
• Utilizing electronic health record systems such as EPIC and medication management tools like Omnicell
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with hospital and pharmacy protocols
• Providing clinical consultation to healthcare providers during nighttime operations

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois
• Proven hospital pharmacy background, with significant experience in pediatric pharmacy
• Comfort and proficiency with pediatric weight-based dosing
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills essential for effective team collaboration

Schedule:

• Night shift (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Work 7 consecutive nights followed by 7 nights off
