Clinical Pharmacist - Cicero, Illinois

A healthcare facility in Madison, WI seeks experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role involves a mix of day and evening shifts, working five 8-hour shifts per week with a rotating schedule every third weekend. Candidates should be prepared to meet mask fit testing requirements.

Schedule:

• Mix of Day shifts (6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) and Evening shifts (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotating every third weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and acute care pharmacy services
• Manage pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
• Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring
• Handle drug shortage management effectively
• Oversee pharmacotherapy management for a variety of medical conditions
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system during daily operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• In-depth knowledge of acute care pharmacy practices and medication management
• Proficiency in pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic monitoring techniques
• Familiarity with drug shortage protocols and pharmacotherapy management
• Wisconsin pharmacist license required; ACT-10 license holders are eligible

Additional Information:

• Travelers must be clean-shaven to pass fit testing for masks; use of personal CAPRs or PAPRs is not allowed on site
• Scrubs will be provided once employment begins
