Clinical Pharmacist - Cicero, Illinois

An inpatient clinical pharmacist opportunity is available on a 13-week contract beginning June 8 in Cicero, IL, supporting a hospital setting. This role involves a rotating shift schedule covering both day (6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and evening (2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.) shifts, with five 8-hour shifts per week and rotation every third weekend.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert inpatient and acute care pharmacy services
• Performing pharmacokinetic and renal dosing evaluations
• Monitoring therapeutic medication levels and managing drug shortages
• Implementing pharmacotherapy plans for complex medical conditions
• Utilizing EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong skills in pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, and therapeutic medication monitoring
• Experience managing drug shortages and pharmacotherapy in an acute care environment
• Wisconsin pharmacist license required; ACT-10 license accepted

Additional information:

• Travelers must be clean-shaven for mask fit testing as personal PAPRs or CAPRs are not allowed; failure to meet this requirement will result in contract cancellation
• Scrubs will be provided upon starting the assignment
