Pharmacist Clinical | Cicero, Illinois

A clinical pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract starting June 1st. The role includes providing inpatient pharmacy services at a well-established medical center near downtown Chicago. This opportunity involves day shifts (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication checking and verification
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and efficient workflow
• Review and verify intravenous (IV) preparations in compliance with safety standards
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system to manage patient medication records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficient in medication verification and clinical pharmacy procedures
• Experience supervising pharmacy technical staff
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is required

Schedule:

• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends
