Pharmacist Clinical | Cicero, Illinois

This opportunity offers a 13-week contract role as a Clinical Pharmacist at a leading medical center’s main campus, starting June 15th. The position requires overnight availability, working four 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, making it ideal for professionals comfortable with overnight schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including checking and verifying medication orders.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and accuracy.
• Check and verify intravenous (IV) medication preparations.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system daily for patient medication management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and procedures.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and maintain high attention to detail.
