Clinical Pharmacist | Cicero, Illinois

This opportunity is for a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist role in an inpatient hospital setting located in Cicero, IL. The position is offered on a 13-week contract basis with potential for extension. As a vital member of the pharmacy team, you will work rotating first and second shifts, covering 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM, including rotating weekends, providing essential clinical pharmacy services to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy support in an inpatient hospital environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for patients.
• Manage and review oncology medication protocols where applicable.
• Utilize Cerner computer systems to document and track pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Participate in rotating shifts and weekend coverage as required.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois pharmacy license.
• Strong clinical experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Oncology clinical experience preferred.
• Proficiency or experience with Cerner electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to rotating first and second shifts, including weekend rotations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
• Rotating weekends.
