Clinical Pharmacist in Cicero, IL

A clinical hospital staff pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract, with the potential for extension. This role involves rotating first and second shifts in an inpatient hospital environment, providing a dynamic setting to apply clinical pharmacy expertise.

Location: Cicero, IL

Shift Schedule:

• Rotating 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating 2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Weekend rotations required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services within the inpatient hospital setting
• Participate in medication therapy management with a focus on clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical record systems for medication management and documentation
• Support oncology patient care through specialized pharmacy services, if applicable

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois pharmacy license required
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience highly desired
• Oncology pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficiency or experience with Cerner systems a plus
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
