Clinical Pharmacist in Clifton, NJ

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with a minimum of one year of inpatient experience to join a healthcare facility for a 13-week contract. This role requires working closely with a healthcare team to optimize patient medication therapy and ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care within an inpatient setting.

Location: Clifton, NJ
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital environment
• Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for patients
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and medication management
• Monitor patient responses to medications and provide education as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license
• At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under a clinical protocol
• First-time travelers are welcome; candidates must be located at least 50 miles away from Clifton, NJ
