Clinical Pharmacist in Coatesville, PA

A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support both sterile and non-sterile production departments. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, and delivering personalized pharmaceutical preparations tailored to individual patient needs.

Location: Coatesville, PA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (may be assigned)
  Job Type: 13-week contract-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accurate preparation of compounded sterile and non-sterile medications following master formula worksheets
• Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies ensuring compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines
• Maintain cleaning and garbing protocols in accordance with company standards
• Perform necessary calculations and maintain detailed documentation
• Operate and monitor production equipment to uphold quality standards
• Utilize correct aseptic techniques and prepare work areas prior to production
• Conduct quality control testing and inspections to ensure medication quality, purity, and potency
• Stay updated on emerging compounding techniques and technologies
• Provide patient counseling on compounded, prescription, and over-the-counter medications

Qualifications:

• Current PA Pharmacist license required
• Recent pharmacy experience with a background in sterile compounding
• Open to new graduates eager to grow in compounding pharmacy
