Unlike larger hospitals where pharmacists might be limited to one unit, this position enables you to broaden your clinical expertise by working across various specialized areas.

Responsibilities

  • Perform medication order entry, verification, and profile reviews to ensure appropriateness and safety.
  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services tailored to the specific needs of patients in ED and ICU.
  • Provide drug information support and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
  • Conduct drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults according to established protocols.
  • Engage in acute patient care scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma, enhancing your hands-on experience in emergency and critical care settings.

Qualifications

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
  • Completion of PGY1 residency or a minimum of 3 years of current clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Active PA pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Experience with Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.

Schedule

  • Variable days and afternoons, primarily 8-hour day shifts, offering some flexibility.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range from $108,000 to $169,000 annually (midpoint at $139,000).
  • Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.
