Clinical Pharmacist in Cordova, TN

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available with a focus on pediatrics at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. This contract role spans 13 weeks, starting October 5th, with day and evening shifts from 12 PM to 8 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consultative clinical expertise to evaluate and enhance medication therapy and patient outcomes.
• Advise physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and patients on the safe and effective use of medications.
• Process medication orders and prescriptions accurately, ensuring timely delivery of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Promote continuous improvement within the pharmacy practice scope.
• Participate in the development and enforcement of medication safety policies, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
• Perform additional assigned duties as required to support patient care and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric pharmacy experience.
• Active Tennessee pharmacy license.
• Ability to provide expert clinical consultation in a fast-paced pediatric trauma setting.
