Clinical Pharmacist - Corrales, NM

A clinical pharmacist position is available to provide critical inpatient pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital setting. This 13-week contract assignment involves working a 7-on/7-off schedule from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. in Corrales, NM, with responsibilities spanning multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently within the inpatient pharmacy
• Utilizing automation technologies such as Pyxis and Carousel for medication management
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and verifying their work to ensure compliance and safety
• Supporting medication preparation, with IV experience considered a strong asset
• Collaborating to provide pharmacy coverage across both Women’s and Westside campus locations as needed

Qualifications and experience desired:

• NM pharmacy license active and in good standing
• Minimum of one year inpatient pharmacy practice experience
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, to document and verify medication orders
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and function well in fast-paced environments
• Open to pharmacists pursuing their first travel assignment
