A community hospital located in a welcoming town offers an opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join their healthcare team. This position involves supporting patient care through comprehensive pharmacy services in a 100-bed facility approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug therapy
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide clinical consultation and medication management
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma pharmacist license required
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and pharmacokinetics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively consult with clinical staff
• Proficiency with Meditech or similar healthcare IT systems is beneficial
