Clinical Pharmacist - Cushing, Oklahoma

A community hospital approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers day shifts and is ideal for new graduates, particularly those with PGY1 residency experience, as well as pharmacists with hospital experience. The hospital has 100 beds and utilizes Meditech for its IT system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring quality and compliance
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient care and medication management
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care
• Participate in clinical consultations and contribute to patient safety initiatives

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Oklahoma
• Background in hospital pharmacy practice preferred
• New graduates with PGY1 residency experience encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with Meditech is a plus
