Clinical Pharmacist | Cushing, Oklahoma

This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist to work full-time days in a 100-bed community hospital located about 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City. The position involves providing essential clinical pharmacy services in a supportive hospital setting with a focus on patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Location:

• Community hospital in Cushing, OK area (near Stillwater)

Schedule:

• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and efficient workflow
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Consult closely with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy
• Support medication management policies and procedures within the hospital

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Oklahoma
• Some hospital pharmacy experience is preferred but not required
• Open to new graduates, ideally those with completion or nearing completion of a PGY1 residency
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system is a plus
