Clinical Pharmacist | Cypress, Texas

A large, high-volume hospital within the Texas Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in oncology to support its inpatient pharmacy team. This role focuses on providing expert medication management for oncology patients, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary care teams in a dynamic 500+ bed facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily rounding with the patient care team to assess and optimize medication therapy
• Provide evidence-based medication recommendations and interventions specific to oncology care
• Develop and maintain oncology treatment protocols within Epic and Epic Beacon systems
• Facilitate seamless transition of care by coordinating closely with outpatient oncology pharmacists
• Manage non-formulary medication requests and specialty medication coordination for oncology patients

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Texas pharmacist license and Texas IV certification required
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient pharmacy experience, with oncology pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record platform highly desired
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams

• Day shifts

This is a contract position starting as soon as possible for 13 weeks with potential to convert to permanent status. Candidates must be flexible to begin immediately and ready to contribute in a fast-paced hospital environment.
