A temporary-to-permanent opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist in an outpatient infusion center pharmacy supporting oncology patients. This role focuses on providing pharmaceutical care in a setting with a high volume of chemotherapy and oncology cases, ideal for candidates with oncology medication experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Order verification with strong attention to detail
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Consulting with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy
- Participating in clinical rounds and patient care discussions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Florida Pharmacist license required
- Experience with chemotherapy and oncology medications is preferred; inpatient oncology experience is acceptable
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across healthcare teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage verification and supervision tasks
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shifts
