Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Davenport, FL

This opportunity is designed for a knowledgeable Clinical Pharmacist to contribute in an outpatient infusion center specializing in oncology care. The role is Temp-to-Hire, offering a pathway to permanent placement after an initial 13-week assignment. The position supports patient care by ensuring medications are accurately dispensed and providing expert consultation to the medical team.

Location: Davenport, FL
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication therapy
• Support oncology infusion services, applying clinical knowledge to aid chemotherapy treatment processes

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Florida Pharmacist license is required
• Experience with chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy practices preferred; inpatient chemo experience is also applicable
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills needed to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams
