Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Denham Springs, Louisiana

A healthcare facility in Denham Springs, LA, is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Critical Care for a 13-week contract position, starting June 2nd. This role offers the opportunity to contribute expertise in a fast-paced ICU environment, supporting both the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2 units.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in critical care settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Review and manage medication orders through EPIC electronic medical records
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and standards in critical care pharmacy practice
• Support Level 1 trauma cases with precise clinical interventions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of one year recent experience as a Critical Care/Clinical Pharmacist with Level 1 trauma exposure
• PGY-2 residency strongly preferred but not mandatory
• LA pharmacy license in-hand is required
• Board certification in pharmacy practice or critical care is advantageous
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system is essential
• Open to first-time travel pharmacists seeking new assignments

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other week (EOW)
