Location:

• Des Plaines, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating first shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating second shift: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient safety.
• Manage drug distribution and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system to document and review patient information.
• Participate in therapy evaluations, including a focus on oncology medication management when applicable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Illinois pharmacy license (mandatory).
• Proven inpatient clinical pharmacy experience, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.
• Oncology pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system is a significant advantage.
• Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and weekend schedules.
