A clinical hospital staff pharmacist opportunity is available to support inpatient care in a fast-paced hospital environment in Des Plaines, IL. This contract position involves a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension, working rotating first and second shifts, including weekends.

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services within the inpatient hospital setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication management
• Monitor and review medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system to document and communicate patient care activities
• Support oncology medication protocols if applicable to patient population

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois pharmacy license required
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is highly desired
• Oncology pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system is a plus
