Clinical Pharmacist - Dowagiac, Michigan

A hospital in Elkhart, IN (near South Bend, IN) is seeking two inpatient clinical pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 1. This opportunity offers dynamic shifts to support inpatient pharmacy services, including:

• (1) Day shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• (1) Day/Evening shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient medication order verification using Cerner Meds Manager
• Manage pharmacy distribution and IV room preparation
• Work with hospital-based medications such as IV antibiotics, anticoagulants, and electrolytes
• Utilize Cerner EMR, Pyxis, and Pharmacy Keeper systems effectively
• Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications in a hospital setting

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proficiency with Cerner order verification required
• Experience with inpatient hospital pharmacy services preferred
• Familiarity with hospital medication preparation and distribution, including IV admixtures
• New graduates eligible if they have Cerner Meds Manager order verification experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
