Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify medication orders while reviewing medication profiles for clinical appropriateness.
- Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to the specific patient population needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Monitor drug therapy and manage pharmacist consults under established protocols.
- Engage actively in acute patient care scenarios, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma interventions in ED/critical care settings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Completion of PGY1 residency or a minimum of 3 years of current clinical experience.
- Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Open to candidates currently licensed outside PA or those without a license in hand.
Schedule:
- Primarily daytime hours, 8-hour shifts with variable days and afternoon coverage.
Additional Information:
- Experience with Meditech IT systems preferred.
- Compensation ranges from $108,000 to $169,000 annually, with a midpoint of approximately $139,000.
