Clinical Pharmacist | East Falmouth, Massachusetts

A night shift Pharmacist opportunity is available at a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This role is best suited for a Pharmacy professional holding a Massachusetts Pharmacist license with hospital experience, who is adept at managing clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Hours:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols
• Supervision and coordination of pharmacy technicians during night shifts
• Pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments
• Consultation and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Utilization of EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, with clinical expertise preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills to effectively consult with medical personnel during clinical decisions
