A highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist is needed for night shift coverage at a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston, MA. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver critical pharmacy services in a supportive healthcare environment. The position operates on a 7-on, 7-off schedule, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
• Manage pharmacokinetics consultations and patient-specific dosing
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting is essential
• Proficient in clinical pharmacy practices, order verification, and pharmacokinetics
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills for supervising pharmacy technicians and collaborating with clinicians
