Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Edmond, OK

Provide clinical pharmacy support in a hospital setting with a focus on inpatient care for a high-acuity patient population. This per diem role requires consistent PRN coverage 3-4 times per week, including weekday and weekend shifts. The schedule is designed to collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Schedule:

• Weekday shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Flexible scheduling with the pharmacist team
• Preferred on-call availability for 24/7 coverage support whenever possible

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general inpatient pharmacy staffing duties
• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide oversight and support for pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Deliver clinical pharmacy support tailored to patient needs

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including PRN and on-call responsibilities
