Clinical Pharmacist | Elkhorn, Nebraska

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in a rehabilitation hospital setting focused on specialized care, including TPN administration and IV antibiotics management. This role offers a chance to apply your pharmacy expertise directly within a rehab unit where patients typically receive three hours of treatment per shift. The environment is fast-paced and requires an individual who can quickly adapt and integrate into existing workflows.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and intravenous antibiotic therapies.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication plans for rehab patients.
• Utilizing the Altera Sunrise system for medication verification and record-keeping (training provided).
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist License required.
• Strong clinical knowledge related to TPN and IV antibiotics preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate the Altera Sunrise system.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working independently within a specialized hospital unit.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday.
• Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Rotating weekend shifts.

Location:

• Omaha area, serving a rehab hospital setting.
