This opportunity calls for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide expert consultative services and enhance medication therapy outcomes in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The role focuses on improving medication usage within the pharmacy scope of practice while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and optimize medication therapy for pediatric patients.
- Provide clinical expertise and consultative support to healthcare professionals.
- Process orders and prescriptions accurately to dispense medications and supplies.
- Advise physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients on the safe administration of medications.
- Participate in the development and adherence to medication safety policies and regulatory compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric pharmacy experience required.
- Valid Tennessee Pharmacy license.
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and regulatory standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.
Location: Ellendale, Tennessee
Schedule/Hours:
- Day/Evening shift, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
