Clinical Pharmacist | Ellendale, Tennessee

This opportunity calls for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide expert consultative services and enhance medication therapy outcomes in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The role focuses on improving medication usage within the pharmacy scope of practice while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and optimize medication therapy for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical expertise and consultative support to healthcare professionals.
• Process orders and prescriptions accurately to dispense medications and supplies.
• Advise physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients on the safe administration of medications.
• Participate in the development and adherence to medication safety policies and regulatory compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric pharmacy experience required.
• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy license.
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day/Evening shift, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
