Clinical Pharmacist | Evanston, Illinois

A healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract position starting June 8. This role requires a minimum of two years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience in an acute care setting.

Schedule and Location:

• Mix of day shifts (6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and evening shifts (2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.)
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotating every third weekend
• Located in Madison, WI

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacotherapy for a variety of medical problems using clinical expertise
• Conduct pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments as needed
• Monitor therapeutic medication levels and manage drug shortages
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and order verification

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience
• Proficient in pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Skilled in drug shortage management and pharmacotherapy management
• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license or ACT-10 allowed for this assignment
• Ability to comply with facility safety protocols, including mask fit testing (shaving for proper seal required; personal PAPRs or CAPRs are not permitted)

Additional Details:

• Scrubs will be provided upon the start of the assignment
• Travelers must meet strict fit testing requirements for masks; failure to comply will result in contract cancellation
