Clinical Pharmacist in Evanston, IL

This opportunity offers an engaging role for a clinical pharmacist specializing in inpatient care within a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position at a major medical center provides a focused experience working overnight shifts, supporting critical functions in patient medication management and pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medication verification and dispensing for inpatient pharmacy needs
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance
• Perform detailed IV preparation checks and verifications to support clinical care teams
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for medication documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
• Solid knowledge of inpatient pharmacy workflows and standards
• Experience using EPIC or similar EMR systems to manage patient medication records
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Schedule:

• 4x 10-hour overnight shifts, from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

This contract spans approximately 13 weeks, starting mid-June.
