Clinical Pharmacist | Evanston, Illinois

A clinical hospital staff pharmacist position is available on a rotating first and second shift schedule, supporting inpatient hospital care for a 13-week contract with potential extension. This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with patient care while utilizing your clinical pharmacy skills in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Location:

• Evanston, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for patients
• Apply clinical knowledge to evaluate and monitor patient medication regimens
• Support oncology-related pharmacy needs (preferred)
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical record system for documentation and medication management

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is highly desired
• Oncology pharmacy experience is preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy software is a plus
• Valid Illinois pharmacy license is required
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Signed agreements completed as per contract requirements
