A clinical hospital staff pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract with potential extension. This role involves providing expert pharmacy services within an inpatient hospital setting, supporting patient care through medication management and clinical consultation.

Schedule / Hours

• Rotating shifts: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 10:00 PM)
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate dispensing and management of medications in the inpatient setting
• Participate in clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy review and patient safety monitoring
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system for documentation and order verification
• Support oncology patient medication management when applicable

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Active Illinois pharmacy license required
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Oncology pharmacy experience considered a significant asset
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift environment including weekends
