This opportunity seeks a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist with strong inpatient clinical experience to support patient care in an inpatient hospital setting. The role involves rotating between first and second shifts over a 13-week period, with the potential for extension. Ideal candidates will have a background in oncology pharmacy and familiarity with Cerner systems.

Location: Evanston, IL
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks with possible extension)
Shift Schedule:

• Rotating 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Includes rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to support inpatient care teams
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy, focusing on oncology when applicable
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records to manage and document pharmaceutical care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois pharmacy license is required
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience essential
• Oncology experience highly preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records is a plus
