Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Everett, WA

A clinical pharmacist role is available, supporting inpatient pharmacy distribution functions with an emphasis on oncology patient care. Location: Everett, WA
Type: Contract (16 weeks +, Temp-to-hire possible)
Schedule: Variable days and afternoons, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using Epic system
• Conduct final product verification checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide clinical consultation and answer drug information inquiries
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities to maintain efficient workflow
• Respond promptly to Code Blue and other emergency situations
• Utilize pharmacy technology systems such as EPIC and Pyxis efficiently

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with relevant clinical experience
• Experience in chemotherapy and oncology preferred, given high patient acuity in this specialty
• Proficient with Epic and Pyxis pharmacy systems
• Ability to handle emergency response situations calmly and effectively
• Strong communication skills for interacting with multidisciplinary teams
