Job Type: Contract (16 weeks + potential Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Variable days/afternoons, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification using Epic pharmacy software to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Conduct final product verification checks before medication distribution.
• Provide clinical support by answering drug information inquiries and clinical questions.
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities to maintain workflow and compliance.
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations to support critical care needs.
• Utilize IT systems, including Epic and Pyxis, for efficient pharmacy operations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Preference for candidates with chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy exposure.
• Familiarity with Epic pharmacy systems and Pyxis automation preferred.
• Strong communication skills for clinical consultation and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
