A Clinical Infusion Pharmacist position is available in Seattle, WA, specializing in home infusion therapies. This contract-to-hire opportunity begins ASAP with an initial 13-week assignment, offering the potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide clinical oversight for infusion therapies, including specialty medications, biologics, antimicrobials, TPN, and compounded sterile preparations.
- Assess patient-specific therapy plans and monitor outcomes to optimize treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on medication management and therapy recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Washington State with an active, clear license.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical pharmacy experience; home infusion experience highly preferred.
- Strong clinical background that includes inpatient care, IV therapies, home infusion, TPN, vancomycin monitoring, biologics, and sterile compounding.
- Experience working with complex patients and rare disease states is a significant advantage.
- Local to the Seattle area or able to commute reliably.
