Position Details

• Start Date: September
• Assignment: Travel contract
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts
• Start times: 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
• Variable days of the week, including weekends
• Holiday coverage as needed; holiday shifts are typically 4–5 hours
• Free 1-bedroom housing included
• Pet-friendly housing is not available

Responsibilities

• Process standard hospital pharmacy orders
• Perform medication/product verification
• Support daily hospital pharmacy operations
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy and healthcare team
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a hospital pharmacy setting

Requirements

• Active Alaska Pharmacist License or temporary Alaska Pharmacist License required
• 1+ year of pharmacist experience in a hospital setting
• Hospital pharmacy experience with standard medication orders and product verification
• Cerner experience required
• Willing to apply for the Alaska license within 24 hours of acceptance
