Position Details

• Start Date: October 12
• Assignment: 26 weeks (possible temp to hire)
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts
• Shift Start Times: 7 AM, 8 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM, or 11 AM
• Schedule: Variable days, including weekends
• Holidays: As needed; typically shorter 4–5 hour shifts
• Housing: Free 1-bedroom housing included
• Alternative Housing: $500/week additional housing allowance if you arrange your own housing
• Travel Support: Lodging and travel-related stipends available

Responsibilities

• Verify standard hospital pharmacy orders and products
• Perform daily hospital pharmacy duties
• Support pharmacy operations across variable shifts
• Provide coverage for weekends and holidays as needed

Requirements

• Active Alaska Pharmacist license or temporary Alaska Pharmacist license
• 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with standard hospital pharmacy orders
• Product verification experience
• Cerner experience preferred
• AK license application must be started within 24 hours of acceptance if offered
