Clinical Pharmacist in Fernwood, MS

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekends

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough checking and verification of medication orders
• Manage pharmacy controls and compliance measures
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who provide support
• Operate within medDispense system and Azalea Health electronic health record (EHR)
• Ensure safe dispensation of medications in a behavioral health/pysch hospital environment

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in clinical and hospital pharmacy settings
• Familiarity or willingness to learn medDispense and Azalea Health EHR systems
• Background or strong interest in behavioral health or psychiatric pharmacy preferred
• Ability to work independently as the solo pharmacist on site
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to patient safety and compliance
