A Clinical Pharmacist position is available in a closed-door mail order pharmacy environment, offering a dynamic role focused on advanced pharmacotherapy and direct patient care. This opportunity follows a 13-week temp-to-direct hire arrangement, with standard weekday hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the possibility of some Saturdays based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications according to prescription orders.
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, covering proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Review and interpret physician orders to confirm therapeutic appropriateness.
• Monitor patient drug regimens for contraindications, interactions, and duplications.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure medication adherence.
• Maintain detailed patient records including medication histories and allergy information.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Manage proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals, checking for expired or compromised products.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement programs within the pharmacy.
• Assist with inventory operations including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• PharmD degree is required.
• Active Indiana Pharmacy License mandatory.
