Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Fouke, Arkansas

This opportunity is for an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a 500-bed hospital setting, featuring specialized units including a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The role involves delivering general inpatient pharmacy services to support optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medication therapy for hospitalized patients across various units
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Utilize the EPIC system for medication order entry, verification, and clinical documentation
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacy practice experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record system is advantageous, especially experience following a system conversion from Cerner
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently during night shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule and Location:

• Night shifts on a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation (Wednesday through Tuesday)
• Position located in Lubbock, TX, at a large medical center known for its specialized pediatric and neonatal care units
• Travel assignment with an option for permanent placement for candidates interested in relocating
