An opportunity is available for an Inpatient Pharmacist to support a 500-bed hospital with specialized units including a 42-bed NICU and 14-bed Pediatric ICU. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to inpatient units, ensuring optimal medication management and patient care. The facility recently transitioned from Cerner to EPIC, and familiarity with EPIC is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all general inpatient pharmacy duties ensuring safe and effective medication use
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy for diverse patient populations, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care
• Utilize EPIC system for medication order verification, documentation, and clinical decision support
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide medication-related education to staff and patients

Desired Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacist, preferably in a hospital setting with NICU and PICU exposure
• Working knowledge of EPIC pharmacy systems preferred to facilitate seamless electronic health record integration
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently during night shifts

Schedule and Location:

• Night shift rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday through Tuesday)
• Location: Lubbock, TX
• Contract position with travel opportunity; permanent placement considered for candidates willing to relocate
