Clinical Pharmacist in Freehold, NJ

Seeking an experienced inpatient clinical pharmacist for a 13-week contract position starting April 27 or May 4. This role requires evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM every other week. The position is based in Freehold, NJ, and is ideal for pharmacists with hands-on inpatient pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities include both operational and clinical duties—reviewing, verifying, and dispensing medication orders, preparing sterile and hazardous medications following USP standards, managing controlled substances, and completing medication histories and reconciliations. Clinical responsibilities entail performing interventions, monitoring therapy for optimal patient outcomes, and providing drug information to both healthcare teams and patients.

Must have at least one year of recent inpatient experience; familiarity with Pyxis and carousel technology is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with EPIC EMR systems is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. A valid New Jersey pharmacist license is mandatory, along with full vaccination status including the COVID booster.

Key Qualifications:
