Location:
- Fremont, CA (with work based at a premier children’s hospital in Palo Alto)
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable days and afternoons
- 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hospitalized pediatric patients
- Utilize EPIC software to manage medication orders, monitor drug therapies, and communicate with healthcare teams
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication management and patient outcomes
- Participate in clinical rounds, providing expert medication recommendations and education
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience, preferably in pediatrics
- Clinical expertise in pediatric pharmacotherapy within a hospital setting
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
- Candidates similar to UCSF preferences are highly regarded: PGY1 residency graduates with strong work ethic and clinical skills
