A prestigious non-profit health system in Santa Barbara County seeks a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist focused on oncology to provide expert pharmaceutical care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medication management including lab test ordering, therapy selection, and adverse event management.
- Verify chemotherapy orders for accuracy, dosage appropriateness, and patient safety.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on oncology treatment plans, managing side effects, and enhancing adherence.
- Collaborate with providers and nursing staff during clinical rounds to optimize treatment decisions.
- Participate in clinical trials, oversee investigational drug use, and develop oncology protocols and guidelines within the institution.
Qualifications:
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
- Eligibility to obtain a California pharmacist license.
- Completion of PGY2 or oncology fellowship, or PGY1 plus 3 years, or 5 years total experience as a clinical specialist in oncology.
- Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise beyond staffing experience.
