Clinical Pharmacist in Gonzales, LA

This position offers the opportunity to work as a Clinical Pharmacist in an inpatient hospital setting with a census of 131 beds and 60 to 70 active beds. The role is based in Gonzales, Louisiana, and operates under a contract-to-hire arrangement.

Location: Gonzales, LA
Environment: Inpatient Hospital
Census: 131 beds (60 to 70 active)
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Shift options: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services supporting inpatient care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize Epic for order entry and patient management (training provided)
• Support medication dispensing and automation using Pyxis (training provided)

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana pharmacy license required
• Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with Pyxis automation preferred (training available)
• Experience with Epic order entry system preferred (training available)
