Clinical Pharmacist | Goshen, Indiana

A leading hospital near South Bend, IN, is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 1. These positions are located in Elkhart, IN, just outside South Bend, and offer shifts designed to meet varied scheduling needs: one day shift from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and one day/evening shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy tasks including medication order verification using Cerner Meds Manager.
• Manage pharmacy distribution services within a hospital setting.
• Prepare intravenous medications in the IV room, including antibiotics, anticoagulants, and electrolytes.
• Utilize Cerner EMR, Pyxis, and Pharmacy Keeper systems effectively.
• Ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing in compliance with hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Cerner Meds Manager order verification is required.
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply if proficient in Cerner order verification processes.
• Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and hospital-based medications.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
