Join a dynamic healthcare environment as a Clinical Pharmacist providing comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to a diverse patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric groups. This 13-week contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver direct patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings at a key regional health center serving a vast and culturally rich community in Northwestern Arizona.

Location: Gray Mountain, AZ
Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/10)
  • Shifts may start at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, or 12:00 pm
  • Weekday and weekend shifts assigned, including possible holidays
  • Regular days off (RDOs) may vary

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services consistent with healthcare facility policies
  • Manage medication therapy for various specialty patient groups
  • Participate in rotational shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Opportunity for career advancement from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist with increased responsibilities such as clinic management and program oversight
  • Supervise professional and non-professional pharmacy staff at designated clinics
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements, including fingerprint clearance before starting

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Valid, unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state or territory (no Arizona license required)
  • Minimum of two years as a Registered Pharmacist and at least one year as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Additional Details:

  • Housing: Limited shared housing availability at $600 per month; no family or pets allowed per facility policy
  • Facility is a JCAHO accredited health center serving Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities with a broad range of medical and surgical specialties
