Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist - Greensboro, NC

An infusion pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC seeks a skilled Infusion Pharmacist for a per diem contract assignment with potential for permanent placement. This role focuses on delivering expert clinical and sterile compounding support within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders specific to infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards
• Provide clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain workflow and ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory compliance
• Adapt to a dynamic schedule with immediate coverage needed on April 8, 9, 10 and additional days during late April through early May

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding techniques
• Comprehensive knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Ability to work independently with flexibility and quick adaptability

Additional Information:

• This position does not require serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) unless the role converts to permanent
• Candidates must be willing to assume PIC responsibilities if hired permanently
