Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist - Greensboro, North Carolina

An opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support a pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This per diem contract assignment offers immediate coverage with the possibility of a long-term or permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home infusion and sterile compounding, thriving in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders related to infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure compliance with USP <797> and <800> sterile compounding standards
• Provide clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency and patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

Schedule:

• Immediate coverage needed: April 8, 9, 10
• Week of April 27 to May 1: minimum two days required
• Additional dates anticipated, generally a few days per week

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina, in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy required
• Strong sterile compounding expertise essential
• Thorough knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations

Additional Information:

• This contract role does not require serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge unless converted to permanent hire
• Candidates must be willing to assume PIC responsibilities if offered a permanent position
• Opportunity for conversion from temp to perm
