This opportunity offers a 13-week temp-to-perm position for a Compounding Pharmacist based in Greensboro, NC. The role centers on preparing and dispensing both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, playing a key role in personalized patient care through collaboration with healthcare teams.

Schedule and Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Includes a 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care to patient needs
  • Accurately prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, adhering to safety and quality standards
  • Maintain precise patient records and manage pharmacy inventory efficiently
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical guidance to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Assist with training and supervising pharmacy technician staff to uphold best practices

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina
  • 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; passionate new graduates with compounding interest are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards
  • Experience with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software such as PK or similar platforms (training provided)
