Clinical Pharmacist - Greensboro, NC

This opportunity seeks a skilled Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on compounding to join a dynamic pharmacy team in Greensboro, NC. This temp-to-hire role offers a hands-on environment where you will prepare and dispense both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, collaborating closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Schedule & Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch break daily

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care for individual patient needs
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions accurately, including sterile and non-sterile formulations
• Maintain thorough patient records and manage inventory efficiently
• Provide expert pharmaceutical guidance to patients to ensure optimal health outcomes
• Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technician staff

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; passionate new graduates with compounding interest are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards
• Experience or knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Ability to adapt quickly to pharmacy software (PK, training provided) and maintain high accuracy under a steady workflow (average 78 compounded prescriptions per day)
