Clinical Pharmacist - Greensboro, NC

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist looking to apply or expand their expertise in pharmaceutical compounding within a dynamic healthcare setting. The role focuses on preparing and dispensing both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions in accordance with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care to individual patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and effectively manage medication inventory.
• Provide pharmaceutical guidance and counseling to patients for optimal health outcomes.
• Assist in the onboarding, training, and supervision of pharmacy technician staff.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina.
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; enthusiastic new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of USP compounding standards (795, 797, 800) is essential.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn pharmacy software PK (training provided).

Schedule and Hours:

• 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Includes a 30-minute lunch break.
