This opportunity is designed for an experienced clinical pharmacist with a strong background in inpatient hospital settings. Location:

  • Greenville, SC

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts within pharmacy hours of 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Contract Duration:

  • 13 weeks, starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee medication therapies in an inpatient setting, including administration of drips and critical care medications.
  • Ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient therapeutic outcomes.
  • Utilize electronic health records, with Epic experience considered an asset.
  • Complete required training modules consisting of 1-2 full days to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active South Carolina pharmacist license.
  • 1 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with 2 or more years of strong inpatient clinical exposure encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with critical care medications, intravenous drips, and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience handling controlled substances in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work efficiently with limited training while maintaining high standards of practice.
