Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Hardinsburg, KY

Provide clinical pharmacy support in a small critical access hospital setting with 25 beds, delivering high-quality inpatient care from June 3 through June 8. This per diem opportunity is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, designed for pharmacists experienced in acute care environments and ready to contribute to a focused team during PRN needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians’ activities, supporting and guiding their workflow.
• Manage cart fills and ensure timely medication delivery to appropriate units.
• Dispense medications using Pyxis automated systems.
• Maintain clear communication with clinical staff to support optimal pharmacy services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, clear Kentucky pharmacist license.
• Minimum of one year recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record systems preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient-centered mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
