Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Hardinsburg, KY

This opportunity is ideal for a clinical pharmacist seeking per diem work in a small hospital environment. Providing support during the week of June 22nd through June 26th, this position is based in Hardinsburg, KY, at a critical access hospital with 25 beds and a typical census of 8-15 patients. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders with precision, monitoring the activities of pharmacy technicians, overseeing medication cart fills, and managing Pyxis dispensing to ensure accurate and efficient patient care. The role requires strong clinical knowledge and hands-on inpatient experience to support the hospital’s pharmacy operations effectively.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Kentucky pharmacy license
• Minimum of one year of recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working collaboratively with healthcare teams
• Sound clinical judgment and ability to manage medication dispensing processes
