Position Details

• Position: Staff Pharmacist
• Location: Hardinsburg, KY
• Setting: 25-bed critical access hospital with an 18-bed SNF
• Type: 13-week+ contract with potential for temp-to-hire
• Start: ASAP, no later than 10/12
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• IT Systems: Cerner and MedDispense
• Travel Support: Lodging, meals, and incidentals available for qualified travelers

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff
• Support day-to-day inpatient pharmacy operations
• Provide safe and effective medication management for hospital and SNF patients

Requirements

• Active Kentucky Pharmacist License
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a critical access hospital setting
• Cerner and/or MedDispense experience is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
