This opportunity offers Monday through Friday hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, ideal for pharmacists with recent inpatient experience seeking flexible work in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring and supporting pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Performing cart fills for medication distribution
- Dispensing medications via Pyxis systems while ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Kentucky pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Preferably familiar with Cerner electronic health records
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
