Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist - High Point, NC

Experienced Infusion Pharmacist opportunity in Greensboro, NC, supporting a dynamic pharmacy operation focused on patient-centered care. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies
• Overseeing preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensuring strict adherence to USP <797> and <800> standards
• Providing clinical support and drug information to both staff and patients
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety
• Maintaining accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

Schedule highlights:

• Immediate coverage needed April 8, 9, 10
• Week of April 27-May 1 requires minimum two-day coverage
• Additional days likely, with schedule details to be confirmed weekly

Qualifications and experience:

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina, in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding in compliance with USP standards
• Familiarity with USP <797> and <800> guidelines is essential
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Additional information:

• No Pharmacist-in-Charge duties required unless position converts to permanent hire
• Willingness to assume PIC role if transitioned to permanent employment
• Per diem position with potential for contract-to-perm placement
