Clinical Pharmacist in High Point, NC

A clinical compounding pharmacist position is available in the Greensboro, NC area with an opportunity to transition from a 13-week temp assignment to a permanent role. This position involves preparing sterile and non-sterile compounded medications while working closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch break daily

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care for individual patients
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and oversee inventory control
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to support positive patient health outcomes
• Assist with the training and supervision of pharmacy technician staff

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Experience or willingness to learn pharmacy software similar to QS1 (training provided)
