Clinical Pharmacist | High Point, North Carolina

A compelling opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in compounding to join a healthcare facility in the High Point, NC area. This temp-to-hire position offers a chance to apply your compounding expertise within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Typical hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to tailor pharmaceutical care to individual patient needs
• Prepare and dispense both sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions accurately and safely
• Maintain detailed patient records and manage medication inventory effectively
• Provide pharmaceutical counsel to patients for optimal health outcomes
• Support and oversee pharmacy technician staff through training and supervision

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of North Carolina
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; passionate new graduates with compounding interest are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards
• Experience or familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Willingness to learn pharmacy software similar to QS1, with training provided
