A busy retail pharmacy in the Columbus area is looking to add a dependable and patient-focused Pharmacist for a 13-week contract with strong potential for direct hire. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment while being part of a collaborative pharmacy team.
Position Details
13-week contract with temp-to-hire potential
Monday through Friday schedule
Day shift hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Retail pharmacy setting
Average inbound script volume: 200–300 prescriptions per day
Pharmacy system: Prime RX
Team environment with 5 technicians and 2 pharmacists

Responsibilities:
Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Provide counseling and medication guidance to patients
Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and staff
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Maintain workflow and accuracy in a high-volume retail environment
Support daily pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives
Requirements:
Active Ohio Pharmacist license
Recent retail pharmacy experience required
Experience with Prime RX strongly preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
